How to rename the files synced to google drive?

You can configure the key fields in the form to automatically include the respondent name or email in the file name when the files are synced to your google drive.


Rename files

  • Open your form in Google Forms

  • Click on the addon icon

  • Click Formesign

  • Click More options

  • Edit page will open in a new tab

  • Click on the gear icon next to the form title

  • Click on the configure key fields icon

  • Map the name, email fields

  • Click Save

Step 1: Open your form in Google Forms > click on the addon icon > click Formesign
Step 2: Formesign addon menu options will be displayed > click More options
Step 3: Sidebar widget will be displayed > click Customize
Step 4: Edit page will open in a new tab > click on the gear icon next to the form title
Step 5: Form settings page will be displayed > click on the configure key fields icon next to the Save button in the bottom right corner
Step 6: Respondent settings page will be displayed > select the relevant fields for the Name, Email, Phone option and click Save
