How to get email notifications with the form response when a user submits the form?

You can keep track of form responses by enabling "Get email notifications for new responses" in Responses tab. If you want to notify multiple collaborators or receive the form response in the email, you can use Mailrecipe for these notification emails.

How to send notification emails to collaborators?

Pre-requisite: You must have installed the Mailrecipe add-on for Google Forms. If you haven't installed the add-on yet, you can install it from G Suite marketplace using this link. https://gsuite.google.com/marketplace/app/mailrecipe/496255709512

Step 1: Open your Google Forms, click on the add-on icon and select "Mailrecipe".
Step 2: Mailrecipe popup menu will be displayed. Select "Notify collaborators".
Step 3: Email notifications setup wizard will be displayed. Enter the collaborator's email address and then click on the Next button. To notify multiple users, you can enter a list of email addresses or an email group separated by commas.
Step 4: Configure the subject line for this notification email. You can enter a simple static subject line or you can use the form fields to personalize the subject as shown in the screenshot below
Step 5: By default, all the answers will be included in the email. You can customize this message as per your requirements as shown below.
Step 6: To personalize the message using the form responses, you can click on Add Field and select the required the field from the list to include it in the message. Once you have customized the message, click on the NEXT button.
Step 7: Submit a test response to check if the email notifications are working.  If it works, click on the YES button. Otherwise, click on the NO button.
If the test is successful, collaborators will receive the notification email for new responses.
If the test email notifications doesn't work, you should click on the NO button and it will automatically try to fix the email trigger. You can submit another test response to check if the email notification works. If you still face any issues, you can get in touch with our support team.
